Overview
Colombia鈥檚 private sector has a long history of investing in projects for social inclusion and sustainability.听 Now the private sector is deeply engaged in finding and creating business opportunities in rural areas, including those long affected by violence and conflict.听

The U.S. Agency for International Development has established a number of private sector partnerships to advance these Colombian efforts, creating opportunities in the legal economy in support of Colombia鈥檚 development objectives and U.S. foreign policy goals.
