Overview

The Power of Partnerships: Country Perspectives for Sustainable Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health, and Family Planning Programs

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to improving health, and that the biggest challenges of our time require rapid, responsive approaches driven and owned by countries and local institutions. This drive towards localization requires a more expansive approach to partnerships than commonly exists. It is essential to build strong and inclusive partnerships for flexible, locally-led, and sustainable maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health services, voluntary family planning, and reproductive health care (MNCH/FP/RH).

Please join the听Wilson Center鈥檚 Maternal Health Initiative, in collaboration with听, for a panel discussion on country perspectives on partnerships for sustainable health care, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists will discuss lessons and insights on building equitable and empowering partnerships, deploying participatory and sustainable capacity development approaches, and fostering inclusive processes that support accountability.

This event is the third and final event in our series, 鈥淓levating Country Voices in the Global Dialogue on Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health, and Family Planning,鈥and will explore country perspectives on partnership principles, models, and mechanisms that can widen the MNCH/FP/RH tent and ultimately improve the reach, quality, and sustainability of MNCH/FP/RH programming.
