Full Biography
After studying political science at New York University, Devon dedicated her career to working in progressive and labor politics. She has extensive experience in issue, advocacy, and policy campaigns at the city, state, and federal levels - including raising the minimum wage, paid family leave, expanding access to healthcare, and immigration reform - most recently as Deputy Political Director of 32BJ SEIU.
Devon moved from New York City to Montreal with her French-Canadian husband and their now 17-month-old son in February 2020, 6 weeks before the border restrictions were put into place. After obsessively watching the closure roll over for months, she decided to put her skills to good use and founded Let Us Reunite. The campaign now represents over 1800 families demanding the United States Government create travel exemptions to allow loved ones to travel across the US/Canadian land border.
