Isabella Canavá

Mexico Institute Staff Intern

Isabella Canavá is a rising senior at Yale University, majoring in history and completing the Multidisciplinary Academic Program in Human Rights. Before joining °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê, she worked for the Refugee Representation team of Human Rights First and completed campus-based research projects for NGOs and Civil Society actors. Isabella was born and raised along the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas. Her interests include access to justice, forced migration, gender-based violence, and the promotion of democracy and human rights.
