200 Years of Bilateral Relations: The Perspective of the US Ambassadors
Overview
The United States-Mexico bilateral relationship is unique in the world, bound by geographical, commercial, historical, and cultural ties. This year, both countries will celebrate 200 years of formal diplomatic relations.
In commemoration of this milestone, the Mexico Institute hosted an event on September 13th聽launching Dolia Est茅vez鈥 latest book 鈥淢exico, A Challenging Assignment: US Ambassadors Share Their Experiences,鈥 an updated version of her 2012 work published by 澳门六合彩. This presentation was followed by a presentation from Ambassador Roberta Lajous on her book, 鈥淓mbajadores de Estados Unidos en M茅xico. Diplomacia de crisis y oportunidades.鈥 After the book presentations, an expert panel discussed the trajectory of US-Mexico bilateral relations and the importance of this diplomatic relationship.
