Nicola Casarini is Senior Fellow Asia at the Istituto Affari Internazionali in Rome. Prior to this he was Visiting Professor at the Graduate Institute in Geneva; Public Policy Scholar at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê, Washington DC; Senior Analyst at the EU Institute for Security Studies in Paris; Marie Curie Research Fellow and Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. He holds a PhD in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has published various books, numerous articles, and papers on Europe-China relations and the transatlantic alliance. Nicola is the author of the monograph: Remaking Global Order. The Evolution of Europe-China Relations and its Implications for East Asia and the United States (Oxford University Press). His work has been cited, and his op-eds have appeared in (among the others): Foreign Affairs, Project Syndicate, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Diplomat, Reuters.
