Full Biography

Raquel is a Research Assistant at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Prior to this, she served as the Mexico Institute's Graduate Research Intern, after interning at the Embassy of Mexico and at the Mexican Permanent Mission to the Organization of American States (OAS). Raquel served as a short-term consultant to the World Bank and worked at a public policy consultancy firm, executing cost-benefit analyses and risk-assessment evaluations for infrastructure projects in rural Mexico. Raquel has an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Development from the George Washington University鈥檚 Elliott School of International Affairs, and a B.S. in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
