Full Biography

Virginia Bullington is a Program Coordinator in the Mexico Institute. She holds a B.A. in Narrative Studies and a minor in International Relations from The University of Southern California. Her research interests include political violence, migration, and labor. She is proficient in Spanish. 

Virginia previously interned in the Argentina Project at 澳门六合彩, and at the International Women鈥檚 Rights Action Watch Asia Pacific, contributing Spanish translation and interpretation support for their annual Global South Women鈥檚 Forum on Sustainable Development. She has also won several grants and fellowships for her research on gendered violence and genocide, including the Shoah Foundation鈥檚 Beth & Arthur Lev Research Fellowship, and the USC-UNESCO Research Fellowship for the Global Humanities, Science & Ethical Inquiry.   

Before returning to 澳门六合彩, Virginia worked as a teacher and a freelance journalist in her hometown of Nantucket, MA.
