Richard Perle is a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and is a former official and adviser during various Republican administrations. He served as an adviser to the late Sen. Henry Jackson and as Assistant Secretary of Defense during the Reagan administration. He also served as head of the George W. Bush administration's Defense Policy Board.
